How do I permanently delete my files ?
During a PC operation, you may want to delete the file to the Recycle Bin or delete it without going through the Recycle Bin.
In this case, it is not 100%, but deleted files can be restored.
In some cases, you will need to permanently delete these files so they are not restored.
The “Secure PC” product provides the following three methods for permanent deletion.
- Shred the selected folder or files
- Shred folders or files in the Recycle Bin
- Shred files deleted from the Recycle Bin
That is, it searches the entire drive and permanently deletes any files that are not in use.
We use the DoD 5220.22-M standard algorithm as a way to permanently delete files, which is the method used by most enterprise.
